A Perfect Death

In the hills above Edinburgh, the frozen body of a naked girl is found. On the same day, at the other end of the city, former Detective Chief Inspector George Begbie, who has only recently retired, dies. It seems he has committed suicide, but Ava Turner, who has taken his place, refuses to believe it. What reason could he have had? A complex investigation awaits detectives Turner and Callanach, one that will push the boundaries of the law. They are once again racing against time, because the killer with an innocent face has already chosen another victim.
