Murder at a wedding: The Quest in the Time of King John

The Kingdom of Bohemia is ruled by King John of Luxembourg, but two rival noble groups vie for influence in the country. The richest Czech nobleman Petr of Rožmberk invites the widow of Wenceslas III to his wedding to the Queen. the most important nobles from both camps in an attempt to settle the existing disputes, but his efforts are fundamentally thwarted by the murder of one of the wedding guests. He belongs to the wing that is hostile to King John and his main supporter Peter of Rosenberg. There is a danger that the current divisions will escalate into a civil war as a result. In order to prevent this, the mighty Rožmberk asks two of his guests, Knight Blahota of Lítožnice and the canon of the St. Vitus Chapter, Christopher, to track down the perpetrators of the crime...
