ABBA: Ring Ring (Remastered 2011) - LP

Ring Ring “is the debut album of the Swedish band ABBA, released in 1973 in the Scandinavian countries and sold in other countries, including West Germany, Australia, South Africa and Mexico. The album was released again in 1975 for the Australasian market, in the United Kingdom only in 1992 and in the United States for another three years.

The album was first released on compact disc in Sweden in 1988, West Germany in 1990 and later in other countries. It was digitally remastered three times in total, in 1997, 2001 and 2005, then as part of the box set The Complete Studio Recordings.

The original album released by Polar Music in 1973 began with the Swedish version of the song Ring Ring (Bara Du Slog En Signal), the English version was placed on the B side as the fourth track.

The album also contains one song, in which Agnetha Fältskog co-authored. Although she composed many songs as part of her solo career, the song Disillusion, for which she composed the music, remains the only contribution from her to the band ABBA. However, the lyrics to this song were written by her husband and colleague Björn Ulvaeus. Otherwise, the entire ABBA repertoire was written and composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
