ABBA: Super Trouper (Remastered 2001) - CD

“Super Trouper“ is the seventh studio album by the Swedish band ABBA, released on November 3, 1980 in Sweden, featuring the hit The Winner Takes It All.

In the United Kingdom, it became the sixth album of the band, which dominated the local charts and at the same time became the best-selling album of 1980 in this country.

The album was first released on compact disc in 1983 by Polydor, in the 1980s by Atlantic Records and in the 1990s by Polydor again in the United States. In total, it was digitally remastered three times, in 1997, 2001 and 2005, then as part of the box set The Complete Studio Recordings.

Probably due to the departure from the disco style at the time, the album returned to a more direct pop tone, which meant a change from the previous more dance-oriented album Voulez-Vous.
