About dragons and priestesses

Keeva, a priestess of Vykria, has just lost her protector, and will fall out of favor with the other priests of the city if she cannot prove her worth within a year. She is ready to do anything for it. To lie, to cheat, to bribe, and to humiliate oneself.
Iris, a priestess of Ruusut recently promoted to hunter, has no older hunter to train her. She is given the opportunity to work with Keeva and, despite the protests of the other priests, is determined to correct her transgressions and make her a true follower of the religion.
Both forget that influence always works both ways.
