Aďa and I

Acha and Me is a picture book that sensitively and amusingly shows children and adults what life with ADHD can be like. The main character, Sophie, tells a rhyming story about her best friend Acha—a restless companion who brings both joy and many challenges into her life. Together, they get ready for school and experience all sorts of adventures there. Even though Acha sometimes causes chaos and Sophie occasionally arrives late for school because of him, he also brings a lot of creativity and joy—for example, in art lessons, which are their favourite.
The story follows their journey from misunderstanding to acceptance, showing that being different doesn't have to be an obstacle, but is a part of an identity that can be embraced and understood.
