Zdeněk (Jiří Bartoška), a respected and popular paediatrician, is retiring and looking forward to a well-deserved rest. But his family is more excited - his wife Olga (Zuzana Kronerová) can't wait to take care of him, as well as his daughter Zuzana (Petra Hřebíčková), whose marriage to Karel (Jiří Langmajer) recently broke up. The most enthusiastic is his granddaughter Aneta (Martina Czyžová), who has always considered her grandfather a great role model and is writing a term paper about him for school. But Zdenek is not as perfect as he seems. For almost 40 years, he has been having a love affair with orthopaedic surgeon Dana (Ivana Chýlková) and she expects that he will finally have more time for her. So Zdeněk is in for a pretty hot time and definitely not the carefree peace he had planned.
