Aerosmith: Permanent Vacation

LP Record Permanent Vacation was the ninth studio album by Aerosmith, released on 21 August 1987. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, the Permanent Vacation album is often considered their true comeback. It spawned three major hits: "Rag Doll", "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" and "Angel", and helped the band achieve its greatest success in a decade. Permanent Vacation has sold over five million copies in the US and was the first Aerosmith album to be certified Gold (100,000 units) in the UK. Review from Good Times No. 2/02: "Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, along with their collaborators, managed to create a powerful sound, experiment with horns, and build a solid bridge between rock and pop."
