Agora 7 Endowment Fund - Cultural and Educational Port 7

The educational and cultural center for seniors, Harbor 7, has been 2017 by a joint project of the Agora 7 and Elpida Endowment Fund o. p. with. The Agora 7 Endowment Fund finances the project, and Elpida o. p. with. During the more than two-year operation of the educational and cultural center for seniors, more than 4,000 unique visitors took part in educational, cultural, physical and other activities.
At both branches of educational centers, it offers a unique and comprehensive program aimed at supporting and promoting the active aging and full life of seniors, both in terms of physical and personal development or the overall position of seniors in society. In this way, it naturally supports the preservation of independence and self-sufficiency of seniors into old age.

The Agora 7 Endowment Fund is based in Prague 7 Holešovice. During the four years of their existence, they have established cooperation with many non-profit projects and decided to regularly support e. g. Caritas Holešovice, Nursing Center of Prague 7, Smilling Crocodille, The Way Home, Elpida and many others.
They take care of improving the quality of life in senior age and across generations and support the socially disadvantaged, living on the margins of society. Their attention deserves especially seniors, for whom they run the educational and cultural center Přístav 7 near Marina Holešovice. In its vicinity, they also built the community garden Botanicula, a place of pleasant rest in the bustle of the city. The garden is open to everyone, the clients of Port 7 grow not only vegetables, herbs and flowers, but also interpersonal and neighborly relations.
During a coronavirus pandemic, he does not lose hope and continues to try to help. They organize collections for better food for seniors and for clients of the asylum, support the work of social workers and, most importantly, stick together.
