Alena Wagner: Six months on the run from death

When a person is eighty, he often thinks about the world differently. How much more time do I have on earth? Is this the last time I see the sea? What's left of me? How come I still don't feel that old? These are the questions the narrator of the short story Half a Year on the Run from Death asks herself. However, Alena Wagnerová did not follow the path of short story writers. Its text is much more like diary entries, but they form a large whole.
