Aleš Palán: Ratajský les

A sequel to Aleš Palán's novel, in which the author shapes, reworks and fictionalizes a story from the 1950s based on real events. Directed by Markéta Jahodová, the cast includes Jana Stryková, Igor Bareš and Jan Hartl. Aleš Palán drew the basis for his novel Ratajský les (Ratajský les) mainly from the investigative file in the Prague research room of the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes. In the novel we alternate through three time planes. The story's three storylines run at a brisk pace, only to end almost breathlessly in 2015, with several surprising denouements and a number of questions in mind.
