In the action-packed sequel to Alien, Sigourney Weaver returns as Ripley, the only survivor of humanity's first encounter with a space alien. Her experiences and news of the crew's fate are met with suspicion - until the mysterious disappearance of the colonists of planet LV-426 leads her to a team of highly equipped Marines sent to investigate.
This special edition contains scenes that were omitted from the film before its release in 1986. Their return expands the scope of the film's narrative and enhances its emotional impact.
