All the scents of oleander

This selection of poetry by the world-famous Spanish poet and playwright offers Czech readers Lorca's poetry in a modern translation after many years. It provides an insight into Lorca's poetic beginnings and poems inspired by folk art and his native region. It also presents lesser-known texts influenced by modernism and surrealism, and includes Lorca's variations on classical poetic forms. The style and atmosphere of Lorca's poetry are complemented by original two-colour linocuts by Karolina Žitná.
