Alley of hope

Will the little dog find the courage to trust humans again?
Millie is a spirited Border Terrier who has learned to survive on the streets – finding food, avoiding people, and defending herself with barks and growls. In reality, she’s not vicious – just scared. After an encounter with animal control, she ends up in a shelter, from where she is rescued by Mrs Berry, a teacher who helps troubled children and dogs find balance and peace at her school. The dog is taken in by Tori, a quiet and withdrawn girl who knows all too well what it’s like to have turbulent emotions. After leaving her mother, she lives with her grandfather and is learning to trust people again. She starts training Millie, and a strong bond forms between them. But the path to trust is not an easy one. When things get complicated, Millie runs away again. Will the little dog manage to overcome her fear, or will she return to life on the streets?
