Alzheimer' s Café je příjemným a neformálním místem pro setkávání lidí s demencí, jejich rodinných pečujících a odborníků. Every first Tuesday of the month, all visitors can share with others not only their concerns, but also the experiences and joys associated with care. In a safe environment, thanks to the invited experts, people learn about various topics and especially about the fact that, despite their appearance, they are never alone in this.

With the co-organizer, the Alzheimer' s Endowment Fund, the Seňorina Endowment Fund always invites one of the experts who provides interesting information on a specific topic in the form of an interview with the moderator and to whom visitors can turn with questions. V ostatním čase návštěvníci Alzheimer' s Café potkávají především jeden druhého. Over a cup of coffee, they can exchange valuable experience and information with the knowledge that they are not alone in going through an equally difficult period. Pro všechny účastníky je "poradna" Alzheimer' s Café zdarma.
Pro koho je Alzheimer' s Café?
Alzheimer' s Café nabízí prostor pro setkávání lidí s demencí společně s jejich blízkými, přáteli, sousedy nebo kýmkoliv dalším, kdo si přeje dozvědět se o demencích více. Anyone who is interested in this topic is welcome, whether for personal, professional or other reasons. Kouzlo Alzheimer' s Café setkání spočívá právě v tom, že nabízí prostor nejen pro pečující, ale také pro lidi s demencí. Those, if the disease allows it, can come at any stage.
Support a caregiver' s counseling center
Alzheimer' s Café se koná vždy každé první úterý v měsíci od 18:00. Visitors can come at any time between 17:30 and 18:00, have coffee or tea and make themselves comfortable.
The meetings take place in the pleasant premises of the Seňorina Center in Prague Na Poříčí. The home environment of this relief center is completely barrier-free and safe, and therefore allows access even for people with mobility difficulties.
Díky podpoře dárců, kterých si centrum velmi váží, je Alzheimer' s Café pro všechny účastníky zcela zdarma.

About Senorina
NF Seňorina strives to improve the quality of care for people with Alzheimer' s disease or other types of dementia in the registered relief social service Centrum Seňorina. It applies Montessori principles, which are based on the direct support of the elderly or the sick in order to maintain their self-sufficiency for as long as possible and evoke a sense of belonging. Nadační fond se zaměřuje také na šíření osvěty ve společnosti, edukaci a podporu rodinných pečujících, projekt Alzheimer' s Café. It offers two educational and charitable products of Alois' s sock and Everything is Normal.
Guarantor of the organization
Jaroslava Švarcbachová studied computer science at the Charles University IFF, is an accredited systemic coach and tries to apply her skills in meaningful projects and activities. Vedla et al. projects focused on active and dignified aging, cooperated with non-profit organizations (Gender Studies, Prostor Plus, etc. ) in the social field in the Czech Republic and in the EU. Promotes the methodology of Montessori principles in the care of the elderly. To support the families in which “Mr. Alzheimer“ joined “, NF founded Seňorina, where she is actively involved.
