Amálka K. Třebičská: Behind the windows of the express train - CD

In these texts, written over several years, we encounter a self-deprecating wit, but also, for example, the hopeless feelings of a childhood during the Normalisation era or the helplessness of old age in a care home. The album is very personal, and just like the lyrics, the music is also personal, reflecting the musical perception of the world of Amálka K. Třebická.

The album was recorded at the Střelice recording studio, with parts recorded at Studio Indies in Brno. The final sound of the record is also significantly shaped by the personal and musical chemistry between Amálka and her drummer and co-arranger, Vladimír Třebický, whose voice can also be heard on several songs, giving them a new dimension. The album's atmosphere is complemented by photographs from Simona Amiridu and a handwritten booklet.
