An island bathed in sunlight
Romance on the island of eternal spring
When Tabitha gets the chance to house-sit and look after pets in a luxury villa in sun-drenched Madeira, she's hoping for just one thing – a chance to finally relax. After a painful breakup, she's been running from place to place for a year, house-sitting, caring for animals, and trying to forget her past.
On the island, she's not only captivated by the beautiful villa overlooking the Atlantic and a pair of adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, but also by the charismatic Raff, who appears out of nowhere in the middle of the night and turns her world upside down. Their first meeting is far from romantic – but under the Madeiran sun, feelings awaken just as quickly as old fears.
Can Tabitha find the courage to believe in love again, or will she close her heart to it forever?
