Arch Enemy: Wages of Sin

LP Record On "Wages Of Sin", new vocalist Angela Gossow must step out from what seems to be a mighty shadow from the past. After all, she is replacing none other than Johan Liiva, who played alongside Arch Enemy guitarist Michael Amott in the original death metal combo Carnage, even before his time in Carcass. That she masters this task so brilliantly is incredible! Much like 1999's "Burning Bridges", "Wages Of Sin" is a massive onslaught of complex riffs, alternating between dazzlingly brutal and breathtakingly melodic, while maintaining an intensity rarely found on today's metal records.
