At the Eaten Store - DVD

The tragic story of Martin Zemly, who falls victim to his selfish surroundings, which hunger for his hard-earned wealth and abuse his goodness. After years of toil, he opens his own shop and the widow Šustrová manipulates him into marrying her daughter Pavlína, who does not love him. The buyer becomes mere prey and loses everything to pay the highest price in the end. The film is also interesting for the participation of Vlasta Burian in an exceptionally negative role.
