Attack from the Deep - DVD

In the icy waters of the northern ocean, the Cold War between the West and Russia never truly ended. Out of sight, dangerous games, provocations, and displays of power are taking place.

State-of-the-art nuclear submarines on both sides are meant to deter the enemy from an attack that would result in an equally terrible retaliation. But the games are over! A Russian submarine, without warning, sends its rival to the bottom of the sea. Above the surface, the Russian president disappears, and a dangerous general, eager to finally use his mighty army, takes command of the military and the nuclear arsenal. War is no longer just a threat; war is slowly beginning.
While an American commando team on land, deep within enemy territory, is tasked with securing and rescuing the Russian president, a special attack submarine is called into action beneath the waves, with Gerard Butler as its captain. He must use his years of experience playing cat and mouse in underwater games to penetrate deep into enemy waters. And if necessary, attack.
