Auntie
It is 2010 when the police contact Agnes with the information that her aunt Colette Septembre has just died. But that's impossible, Colette died three years ago... Agnes thinks it's a mistake or a coincidence of names. Yet she returns to a small town in Burgundy, where she left long ago, to identify the body of an unknown woman who left her a will and recorded audio tapes. Who is this woman? If it's really Colette Septembre, who's lying in the cemetery instead?
And why did her aunt want Agnes to think she was dead? Why has she been hiding all these three years? Who was Colette really and what was she hiding?
Agnes decides to get to the bottom of this mystery, and together with her we delve into another captivating and breathtaking story by Valérie Perrin, a writer with a rare talent for storytelling.
