Avi Kaplan: Floating on a Dream

LP Record "Floating On A Dream" is the solo debut from Avi Kaplan. Produced by GRAMMY Award-winner Shooter Jennings (Brandi Carlile, Tanya Tucker, American Aquarium) and mixed by Trina Shoemaker (Brandi Carlile, Queens Of The Stone Age, Sheryl Crow), the album highlights a solid musical foundation with Avi's unmistakable baritone vocals. It reflects Kaplan's Californian roots and his fascination with the American West in long shadows and atmospheric high relief, expanding his artistry into exciting new territory. In the album's eleven original tracks, which draw on country, blues, soul, tribal drumming, and a touch of gospel, he explores questions of the heart, truth, morality, and the search for relevance.
