
Tower of Babel
A tale about the search for the spring of living water in the Chod dialect
Věra Procházková elaborated the classic motif of fairy tales about three royal sons who set out into the world to find a spring of living water. She is to help their sick father to his feet. Věra Procházková, a teacher by profession, was also a collector of Chod literary folklore. She also used her knowledge in the fairy tale The Tower of Babel, which, as the title reveals, is written in the Chod dialect.
The classic Czech radio fairy tale director Karel Weinlich cast Miroslav Masopust, Martin Růžek, Jiří Sovák and Zuzana Töpferová in the main roles.
