Basic Instinct

The blood splashing from the body of the murdered partner ends the lovemaking of one couple. Detective Nick Curran and his partner Gus are awaiting questioning the victim' s mistress - the successful writer Catherine Tramell. A graduate psychologist, walking basically without underwear, plays with the entire police department. It turns out that she described the same murder in detail in her latest book. Her strange love relationships with men and women appear.
Police psychiatrist and detective' s ex-mistress Beth Garner tries to uncover the psychological side of the crime. Nick finds strange similarities between the themes of Catherine' s books and the people the writer associates with. Almost everyone around her has to do with the murders or accidental deaths of her family members.
The detective is increasingly attracted to Catherine and becomes her lover. In his past, the girl had scrambled for things he hoped would remain buried in police records forever - including the unfortunate shooting of innocent people in one operation. In addition, she told him that her new novel would be about a detective who falls in love with his future murderess.
It goes tough. Nick does not intend to give up, even if, due to his fault, the police action fails and he is relieved of work on the case. In addition, Curran' s partner Gus is murdered.
The detective wants to decipher the entanglement of psychopaths, lesbians and murderers at all costs to find the answer to the question of who murdered and why.
