Bastille: Wild World (2016) (2x LP) - LP

When the British band Bastille first made a global impact three years ago with the hit Pompeii, no one expected the London quartet to become one of the most popular British bands of the last decade in a short time. After the success of Bad Blood' s debut and its reissue, which has sold more than four million copies worldwide, there is finally a new album.

The successor to the album Bad Blood was named Wild World.
The basic form of the album will include fourteen songs, its deluxe version will bring five more songs . In addition to the digital format, the aforementioned album will also be available for purchase on black, as a double vinyl, which will be supplemented by an extensive cover and code for free digital download.

Bastille, which is mostly presented to the public by the charismatic singer Dan Smith, recorded the record again in the same small studio in the south of London, where the debut album was once made. The already mentioned Dan is the author of all the new songs, and at the same time, together with Mark Crew, the imaginary fifth member of the band, he also took care of the production again. Although the band continues to emphasize new melodies and catchy refrains, it also promises a certain musical maturity for its novelties.

“If our first album was about growing up and the fear that surrounds it, the second album is about trying to find meaning in the world around us, both from the perspective of each of us and through the media. It' s all about asking the world and the people in it questions. We wanted this album to be a little confusing - extroverted and introverted, sometimes dark and not again, “ explains Dan Smith, who adds with one breath that the band was inspired musically, for example, in the darker period of Depeche Mode.

The fact that the new Bastille album will be one of the most anticipated titles of this year is also indicated by the interest of fans connected with the introduction of the pilot single of the album, the song Good Grief . It was deployed in the highest rotations of most European radio stations almost immediately after its release, and for the time being it is definitely not doing badly. It seems that we definitely have something to look forward to in September.
