Find your light, follow your dream

AUGUST GREENE successfully passed a talent test and was accepted to the High School of Dramatic Arts in New York, which has produced many outstanding actors. There's a catch. August is transgender and had to run away from his hometown because his parents weren' t ready for such a change.

In order to stay with his aunt in New York, he had to promise them that he would not transition, and so he had to pretend that he was still their daughter. But because he is a born actor, believes, that he can play both roles, what his parents want from him, as well as the role of self-confident, relaxed easygoing person, which will allow him to change, to fit in with his new, talented friends.

But who does August really want to be when the stage lights go out and the game is over? And what will he do when the roles he plays begin to uncomfortably blend with reality?
