Beastie Boys: Licensed To Ill

LP Record Licensed to Ill, released on 15 November 1986, is the debut studio album by the Beastie Boys. It was the first hip hop album to top the Billboard chart. The album was produced by Rick Rubin, the co-founder of Def Jam Recordings. While initially criticised for its graphic and offensive lyrics, the album was later praised for its influence on hip hop, punk rock and rock music. In February 1992, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
