The “Red“ and “Blue“ selections from the legendary Beetles have been reissued!

If one can be described as an immortal legend, the Beatles will remember everyone in the first place. The collections called “Red“ and “Blue“ were first released in 1970, shortly after The Beatles announced their dissolution.

While the first named selection recapitulated the period from 1962 to 1966, the second from 1967 to 1970. It should be noted that the release at the time recorded record sales and both albums were among the biggest selling hits of the 20th century. So it' s no surprise that now, almost exactly forty years after the band' s breakup, both legendary selections are returning in remastered form.

The whole remaster process took place at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, the place where The Beatles and most of their hits were filmed. In addition, the whole project was taken care of by the same team that was in charge of the already mentioned remaster of all The Beatles albums.

The Beatles were an English rock' n' roll band from Liverpool. Its members were John Lennon (vocals, backing guitar), Paul McCartney (vocals, bass guitar), George Harrison (solo guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, occasionally singing). It is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music. The Beatles' music is still played and popular around the world. When the renowned music magazine Rolling Stone compiled a list of the best albums in the history of popular music in 2003, the Beatles reached the top ten a total of four times (including 1st place behind Sgt. Pepper' s Lonely Hearts Club Band).

The Beatles led the British music invasion of the United States in the mid-1960s. Although their initial musical style was rooted in 1950s rock and roll and domestic skiffl, the band tried many different genres from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. With their clothing, styles and sayings, they determined the trends of their time, while their growing interest in social issues influenced the social and cultural upheavals of the 1960s.
