Beauty in Trouble - DVD

Robert Graves' poem of the same name inspired Jan Hřebejk and Petr Jarchovský to create a love story of a young woman (Anya Geislerová) dealing with the dilemma of love for two men (Roman Luknár and Josef Abrhám), the dilemma between sexual addiction and a secure future for herself and her children (Adam Mišík and Michaela Mrvíková), the dilemma of relationships with her mother (Jana Brejchová) and stepfather (Jiří Schmitzer) and her mother-in-law (Emília Vášáryová). Beauty in Trouble is full of tense twists and turns as well as comic and paradoxical denouements with riveting performances and excellent music.
