Beekeeping herbs

Honey is said to have healing properties, in this book you will learn which active substances are added to honey from herbs and what properties each honey has. In addition, you will learn about nectar production, pollen grains and, last but not least, the relationship between bees and plants. A special part of the publication describes about 180 herbs with regard to their beekeeping importance. The nectar and sugar value data presented can be used to compare the importance of the bee grazing resource. The handbook is intended primarily for practical beekeepers, but it will also be used by gardeners, ecologists, etc. It is a follow-up to the publication Beekeeping Woody Plants published in 2004.
