Behind a lucky star

Young teacher Lara Penrose leaves England for a remote Australian village to escape an unjust punishment. He teaches children in an abandoned church, discovers local customs and slowly gets used to the wilderness of the Northern Territory. Crocodiles in the area are terrifying everyone, so Lara asks a local hunter to rid them of the dangerous creatures. His charm enchants Lara, but it disrupts the fragile bond that is growing between her and the local doctor.
