Between us

Irena believes she has experienced the most perfect marriage in the world. She and Marcel were connected by a bond that amazed even those closest to her: they were a couple who lived for each other as if every day was their first. This ordinary relationship, one of the greatest love stories, kept them on the edge of everyday reality. With the loss of Marcel, Irene' s world falls apart, and she discovers an unusual way to continue living with him in order to move forward. She becomes entangled in a web of overflowing passions, experiencing life as if she were writing a sonnet. Among Us explores what it means to be alive and to love, while also being the story of a woman trapped in an intimate, imaginative, and deadly utopia.
