Bílá Lucie: Bílé Vánoce Lucie Bílé - CD

Celebrate the Christmas holidays with the most Christmassy songs of all!
Lucie Bílá has released an album with melodies that are in perfect harmony with what are probably the most beautiful days of the year.
Grand melodies and beautiful singing for the most wonderful holidays of the year!

Together with pianist, bandleader and music producer Petr Malásek, she has selected a collection of songs for this occasion, including some of the most successful in the world, added similarly famous Czech ones and discovered a few surprises. The excellent instrumentalists in the studio were joined by the Prague Symphony Orchestra with conductor Miriam Němcová, as well as the Czech Boys' Choir Boni Pueri, conducted by Pavel Horák.

In addition to previously lyricised songs, new poetic versions by Pavel Vrba were also created, and in several cases the original Latin text was retained: Schubert's Ave Maria, Franck's Panis Angelicus and Mozart's Adeste Fideles. Our undoubtedly most successful singer will also accompany the musical holidays with the traditional Jingle Bells, Amazing Grace and Little Drummer Boy, but there will also be the Semafor classic Purpura, this time as a duet with Marta Kubišová. You will hear other guests too: Karel Gott was happy to join in with this beautiful repertoire.
