Birdman (Oscar Edition) - DVD

“Michael Keaton delivers the best performance of his career” (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone) in this “funny and frenetic” (Manohla Dargis, The New York Times) film from acclaimed writer and director Alejandro G. Iñárritu.

Former movie superhero Riggan Thomson (Keaton) is desperate for recognition as a serious artist, so he invests all his money into a Broadway play. However, his efforts to rise above mediocrity are undermined by criticism from within and without, his own delusional alter ego, his estranged daughter (Emma Stone), and a temperamental stage star (Edward Norton). With its wit, original plot, and brilliant performances from a star-studded cast including Naomi Watts and Zach Galifianakis, Birdman is a “bold, original and impressive film” (Leonard Maltin, Indiewire.com).
