Birds around us - In your pocket

A simple atlas that is easy to navigate thanks to the colour code of the different bird groups The bird kingdom is rich in a huge variety of colours, shapes and sizes, but the colour code makes it easy to find the right way to identify an unknown species. Each colour denotes one group of similar bird species. The captions in the figures highlight the most important identifying features. However, it is also worth paying attention to the description of the vocal expression of each bird and other useful information in the text concerning its usual behaviour during foraging and nesting. In this book, birds are divided into five groups: singing; woodpeckers, pigeons and others; owls, raptors and falcons; burrowing and large birds; waterfowl.
