Black Country, New Road: For the First Time

LP Record Recorded at the beginning of this year with Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine) and completed at the end of the UK's nationwide lockdown, the album is the perfect picture of a new band and all the energy, ferocity, and explosive charge that comes with it. At the same time, it's clearly the work of a group with no interest in repetition, monotonous songwriting, or creative stagnation. "For The First Time" features six new songs, including reinterpretations of the early tracks "Sunglasses" and "Athens, France", and is an auditory time capsule that somehow captures the past, present, and future simultaneously.
