Black Sabbath: Technical Ecstasy - LP

"Technical Ecstasy" is the seventh studio album by Black Sabbath. This record, along with the album Never Say Die!, did not achieve the same level of success as Black Sabbath's previous albums.

With this album, the band continued to move away from its original dark style; lyrics about drugs, prostitution and transvestites appear. The dark atmosphere is rarely present. Tracks like "Rock 'n' Roll Doctor" and "It's Alright" (sung by drummer Bill Ward) are very different from the band's original work.

Experimentation with keyboards and synthesisers also continues, even more so than on previous albums. The track "She's Gone" was recorded with an orchestra. The Czech singer Marie Rottrová covered it and released the song "Lásko, voníš deštěm".

Guns N' Roses covered the song "It's Alright" live and released it on the album Live Era: '87–'93.
