Blackfield: For The Music - LP

For The Music is the sixth album from the English duo Blackfield, released in 2020, on which Israeli singer Aviv Geffen once again takes the lead role, as he has in the past. The record is available on CD, classic black LP (0190295139803) and as a limited edition on coloured vinyl (0190295139780).

Blackfield is a collaborative music project between English musician and Porcupine Tree founder Steven Wilson and Israeli rock singer Aviv Geffen. Under the name Blackfield, they have released six albums together. The first two records, Blackfield and Blackfield II, were created with the duo as equal partners, whereas the third and fourth, Welcome to my DNA and Blackfield IV, were primarily Geffen's work. He took on the main role, writing all but one of the songs on the albums and handling most of the vocals. Despite originally announcing his intention to leave the project in 2014, Wilson instead worked as an equal partner on the fifth album, Blackfield V, which was released in 2017. The sixth album, For the Music, was released at the end of 2020, with Geffen once again taking the lead.
