Blood of Angels

The year is 1646 and according to an old legend, people believe that the blood of unborn children works miracles. It is called the blood of angels, because deceased innocents go straight to heaven in the form of angels. This idea is also on the mind of Borek, a young forensic investigator who must quickly solve the murders of women before giving birth. Almost everyone in the capital has a pregnant wife or daughter, which is why panic is starting to spread. After the third brutal murder, Borek arrests a suspect and the whole town finally breathes a sigh of relief. But the relief is premature. Because soon there will be another murder, and so the doubts grow, of the suspects and also those who doubt, if the young investigator is the right guy, who can find the real culprit.
