Bloody Salvation

Crime novel from the bestselling series featuring detective Josie Quinn

A heavy rain falls on Denton, washing away the body of a young girl. Detective Josie Quinn and her team have no crime scene to begin their investigation. Fortunately, the victim' s body is well preserved, including the baseball patch on the jacket the victim is wearing. Josie can' t hide her shock - her dead ex-husband Ray owned exactly this jacket.
When Josie retraces her steps back in time, when she was in high school herself, identifies the girl as Beverly Urban, a troubled student, which was said, that she is having an affair with Ray. But one year during the holidays, she and her mother moved away. Or at least that' s what everyone in Denton thought.
Delving into the memories of her past with Ray is the only advantage Josie has over a twisted killer who wants to keep his secret hidden. Even at the cost of other lives.
