After the horrors of their last case, DCI Kett and the rest of the Extreme Crimes Unit are in need of a break.

And when Commissioner Clare takes them on a team-building retreat to a quiet Norfolk village, it looks like they're finally going to get the well-deserved rest they need.

However, a weekend of relaxation and fun soon turns into something much more sinister when two local youths overdose on a horrific new drug, nicknamed the Bonebreaker by the local police.

Kett and his team suddenly find themselves in the middle of a bloody turf war between gangs, a cult, police officers, and angry locals. Not to mention a ghost…

They soon discover that sometimes a holiday isn't about rest, it's about revenge.
