Bowie David: Glastonbury 2000 (3x LP) - LP

In 2000, David Bowie performed at the famous Glastonbury Festival. This recording of his performance features most of his hits as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the concert.
This release also includes Bowie's diary, originally written for Time Out magazine, in which he describes his preparations for the show in his own unique style.

Glastonbury Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis commented on the set's release: "I'm often asked for the best set I've ever seen at Glastonbury. David Bowie's 2000 concert is always the one I think of first. It was magical; a huge crowd watched him with bated breath. Bowie told beautiful stories about playing the festival for the first time in 1971, sleeping on the farm and performing at sunrise. And he played an amazing, emotional show".

The musical chameleon is one of the most innovative and inspiring artists in music history. He influenced many who followed, including a number of Czech musicians. When the BBC ran a poll in 2002 to find the 100 Greatest Britons, Bowie was ranked 29th. The prestigious magazine Rolling Stone ranked him 39th among the greatest artists of all time.
