Bowie David: Space Oddity (2x LP) - LP

The song was first released on 11 July 1969 as the first single from the album David Bowie (the album itself was reissued in 1972 under the title Space Oddity). The song is about the fictional astronaut Major Tom, who also appeared in other Bowie songs (Ashes to Ashes, Hallo Spaceboy, and in the music video for Blackstar).
To mark its fiftieth anniversary, a special edition with two 7" singles was released in 2019. The original recordings are complemented by brand new mixes prepared by Tony Visconti for this celebratory reissue.
