Aleš Brichta drew attention to himself for the first time outside his home Arakain in the Earthquake in 1993 project. Since then, his star has been rising sharply.
By performing in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, he demonstrated the versatility of his talent, and with his first album Rose for Algernon (1994), he attracted attention as a distinctive and original singer who was absent from the domestic music scene.
Anyone who expected only a rock cut from the leader of the metal ARAKAIN was surprised that Brichta, not only as a singer, but also as an author, tends towards the genre of rock singing.
Hit Barák opened the gate to the radio broadcast for the shooting, and in the following years more than a dozen of Bricht' s songs scored in the charts.

In the 90' s, Aleš Brichta' s discography collected not only hits from his solo albums, but also recordings that aroused a great response, even though they were created only for a certain occasion (Nečám, C' est la vie). The most successful hits were included together with several novelties on the album named after Aleš Brichta' s most successful song, Girl with Pearls in Her Hair, which we still hear on radio waves.
