The herons are facing a fierce fight to the death. The next installment in the Brotherhood fantasy series.
Hal and his brotherhood of Herons pursue the pirate Zavak, driven by the desire to reclaim the andomal, the sacred stone of the Scandi. The crew of the Heron faces a daunting task - to find the bloodthirsty robber before they can disappear forever somewhere in the South Seas. The pursuit leads down the mighty Dan River and over a dangerous waterfall to the walled city of Raguza, an infamous haven for pirates and adventurers. If Hal is to succeed here, he must trust in the abilities of his crew and challenge Zavak to a duel to the death.
