Cars Lada 1970-1990

Soviet Lada cars, still known in this country as "Zhigulis", gained considerable popularity in the 1970s and 1980s not only in the Eastern Bloc countries but also in the West. The book offers technical descriptions of individual models, from the first cars of the classic Lada 1200 concept, through the compact off-road car Lada Niva with four-wheel drive and the modernized Lada 2105 models, to the new generation of the mid-1980s with a front engine and front-wheel drive, the first representative of which was the Lada 2108 Samara. The book does not forget the prototypes, sporting activities and African adventures of the now legendary cars. For the first time it also provides a detailed overview of their production and import to Czechoslovakia.
