Čechomor: Inhalation - Set (4x CD) - CD

This limited edition box set marks the end of another successful era for Čechomor. It compiles all the recordings from Nadechnutí (Inhale) along with a bonus CD featuring selected songs recorded in an acoustic format during the involuntary break from live productions due to the coronavirus pandemic, making it a document of its time.

As a rarity, some songs in their original "demo" form have been added to the fourth album. Like Proměny (Transformations), Nadechnutí is one of the band's pivotal albums. It earned them Gold and Platinum records for its sales.

The band Čechomor was formed in 1988. They won over fans and the respect of critics primarily with their imaginative arrangements and distinctive interpretation of music based on folk songs. The year 2001 was a breakthrough for Čechomor, when they won three Anděl awards (for Band of the Year, for the album Proměny, and for the title track). During this time, the band has toured not only in their home country and Slovakia, but also throughout Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia. They have collaborated with several prominent music producers (such as Jaz Coleman and Gerry Leonard), performed with several symphony orchestras, Japanese musician Joji Hirota, American singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega, and many others. In recent years, the musicians gathered around the band's leaders František Černý and Karel Holas, with guest singer Martina Pártlová, have been working extensively on a new, more modern sound, more distinctive arrangements, and also on new repertoire.
