Čechomor: Inhale Live - CD

The album is a live record of an unconventional combination of Čechomor and Kumpan' s musicians. It was created at concerts in Olomouc, Frýdek Místek, Pardubice, Ústí nad Labem and Brno.
In addition to songs from the last studio album, it also contains several other songs from Čechomor' s repertoire. Inhalation, like the transformations, belongs to the group' s main albums. For its sale, it took over the Gold and Platinum records.

Folk songs, supplemented by several original songs of the group, received a significant arrangement by Jan Valta in the case of Inhalation, who created a great wind arrangement in addition to the traditional rock arrangements of Čechomor. A wide range of musical styles from symphonic music to real Czech brass band offers a new and unusual sound of the Čechomor group accompanied by unique Kumpan musicians under the direction of virtuoso trumpet player Vlado Kumpan.

The group Čechomor was founded in 1988.It gained its supporters and the respect of critics mainly through its imaginative arrangement and distinctive interpretation of music, which was and is based on folk songs. The turning point for Čechomor was the year 2001, when he won three Anděl awards (as a group of the year, for the album Proměny and for the song of the same name). During that time, the band toured not only at home and in Slovakia, but also throughout Europe, touring North America, Australia and Asia. She has collaborated with several prominent music producers (eg Jaz Coleman, Gerry Leonard), has performed with several symphonic ensembles, Japanese musician Joji Hirota, American singer Suzanne Vega and many others. In recent years, musicians grouped around the leaders of the group, František Černý and Karel Holas, with guest singer Martina Pártlová, have worked significantly on a new, more modern sound, a more distinctive arrangement and also on a new repertoire.
