Chasing Samurai Submarines - DVD

Just before the atomic bomb forced Japan to retreat, the Imperial Japanese Army sent an incredibly advanced fleet of submarines to American shores.

They were supposed to attack major cities. Their submarines were huge and modernly armed. However, Japan surrendered before the attack occurred. The Americans have captured the submarines. They wanted to examine them thoroughly, but then when Soviet scientists demanded access to them, they preferred to sink them near Hawaii.

Until today, it was a mystery exactly where. A team of scientists decided to explore the surrounding islands and find the lost pride of the Japanese Empire. Terry Kerby and Max Cremer will go nearly a mile deep in a submarine in an attempt to find the biggest and fastest submarines of World War II and solve one of the greatest mysteries of the war.
