Children of the Disorder is a loose sequel to Children of Time
After the collapse of the human empire, the Earth fell silent. However, terraforming programmes on various planets in space are continuing because there is still hope that colonists will come to settle them. The science team on the planet Nod works in two groups.
While the first terraformed the planet, the second group made its way to its ocean-covered orbit. There, Dr Senkovi experiments with his favourite octopuses, which he wants to adapt to the local ecosystem. But little does Senkovi know that he and his intelligent cephalopods will soon become a bulwark against the danger that lurks dormant on Noda as he prepares to venture into space in search of adventure.
Thousands of years later, an exploratory ship from the world of Kern sets out for Nod, with humans and spiders working together...
